Yup, only one manicure for September! Between two part-time jobs and school it has been tough to do anything else but sleep whenever I can. In the next couple of weeks I'll start to slowly start rolling out posts, so make sure you look out for those. As always guys, thanks for bearing with me!
If there's one thing I've been faithful to this year on my blog it's definitely my Monthly Manicures series. Every month I put up a complete roundup of manicures that I have done during a given month. The purpose of this series isn't to show off some sort of talent that I have for nail art, but rather to talk about new polishes and techniques I get to try out.
Without further ado, let me show you what kinds of manicures I had in August!

This will probably be the shortest post I've done so far. I wanted to take a moment to show you what is easily my favourite nail polish from Julep - Angela. The colour is described by Julep as a "deep sea blue molten." It would be really awesome to pair some underwater-themed decals with this polish because it really does remind me of the depths of a sea or an ocean. I had no problems with the formula. Unlike some Julep polishes that have a thick formula, Angela was quite nice to work with.
I didn't wear a top coat with any of these pictures*, but I did put it on afterwards. Although the colour you see in the photos is quite luxurious and majestic, after about 2 days the colour became sort of dull.
*All of the pictures were taken indoors with artificial lighting.
