Hey everyone!
Today's post is going to be super short since I barely used up any products in April. If you'd like to check out the previous month's empties, you can do so here.
Read about my April empties after the jump...
1 || 'Jasmin Rouge' Eau de Parfum (Tom Ford) || $241.53 CAD for 1.7 oz
Megan of Polished Portland kindly sent me this sample. I was so sad to finish this little vial. What I loved about the Jasmin Rouge fragrance is that while it had a spicy-floral scent, it was also fresh and unlike anything I have come across before. Honestly. I find that there are so many 'sweet' scents out there that the difference between them is pretty much minimal. In contrast, Jasmin Rouge caught my senses right away and I couldn't stop smelling it the day I received it. If you would like to find out more about this fragrance, you can check out this page. As much as I love this perfume, it is painfully expensive, so I am going to say no to purchasing the full-size bottle for now. Purchase? Not right now.
2 || Purity Made Simple (Philosophy) || $26.00 CAD for 8 oz
This is actually a product I used up in March - I just forgot all about it until I discovered the empty tube I had been hiding away for review purposes. Sigh. Anyways, I've decided to include it in this post because it's a product worth talking about. When I'm not using my Forever 21 makeup-removing tissues, I am using Purity. It's excellent at removing makeup. Plus, my face feels really refreshed after using it. Best of all - you only need to use a quarter/dime-sized amount! You know how I mention from time to time that certain products are 'investments'? Well, this cleanser is definitely an investment! I have been using this product since "04/08/12" (I wrote the date on the bottle on the first day of use), and using only a quarter/dime-sized amount almost every day has made this product last for me well into 2014. Purchase? Yes!
3 || PrX Reparatives Shampoo (Fekkai) || $20.00 $16.00 US for 236 mL/8 oz (On sale!)
I love receiving shampoo/conditioner samples! This one was from my Spring 2014 Luxe Box. Don't you find that shampoo always finishes so much quicker than conditioner does? I liked the scent of this shampoo, but nothing else really stood out for me. I saw a shelf of Fekkai products at a local Shoppers Drug Mart recently, so it's nice to know that if I want to purchase this product I'll be able to find it locally. Purchase? No.
That's it for April! Have you tried any of the products above?
Thanks for reading! -A.~
